Vernal Loleta Bednar, 90, of Burlington, died Thursday, May 14, 1998, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Jan 20, 1908, in Marshalltown, she married Albert J. Bednar on Nov. 14, 1953, in Iowa City.
Mrs. Bednar was a graduate of Marshalltown High School. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Burlington.
Survivors include her husband.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Visitation will begin after noon Sunday at Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm.
The graveside funeral for Mrs. Bednar will be at 10 am Monday in Aspen Gove Cemetery, with the Rev. Tyrone Henderson officiating.
