Mrs. Ethel M. Beckman, 79, of 1301 S. 15th, died in Burlington Medical Center at 3:15 pm Saturday, July 21.
She was born July 26, 1899, at Burlington, the daughter of John and Marie Bloom. She married Arthur George Beckman on Oct. 4, 1922, in Burlington; he died April 4, 1968.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, its Dorcas circle, King’s Daughters, and was a past-worthy matron of the OES.
Surviving; Two daughters, Jean Gerling, Winfield, and Marjorie Eyre, Burlington; five grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Funeral: 1:30 pm Tuesday, Prugh’s Chapel, Rev. Alvin Jenkins; Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established at Trinity church.
