Louis A. Pameter, 70, of 604 Mercer St., died Saturday, June 22, 1991, at his home.
Born June 5, 1921, in Burlington, he was the son of Albert E. and Emma Stoerzbach Parmeter.
He was born and raised in his home at 604 Mercer St. He was a bartender for 46 years and had owned Doris Tavern. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was confirmed at the Zion United Church of Christ. Surviving are one brother, Albert J. Parmeter, Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Phyllis (Edward) Alter and Mrs. Ruth (Ray J.) Hill, both of Burlington; three nieces; and two nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Lunning Chapel.
The service for Mr. Parmeter will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Gary Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
