Mr. Larry Dean Nafziger, 74, of West Burlington died at 10:09 a.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at his home.
Born May 25, 1942 in Burlington, he was the son of Menno J. and Anna B. (Rich) Nafziger.
Mr. Nafziger attended West Burlington schools. He was a gas station attendant for many years at Siegel's Auto Service and Denny's.
He was an avid Green Bay Packers, Cardinal and Dale Earnhardt fan.
Survivors include one sister, Janet Hagemeier of Burlington; two brothers, Donald Nafziger of Danville and Charles Nafziger of Oquawka, Illinois; his caregiver, Sheryl Oster; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters and five brothers.
The funeral service for Mr. Nafziger will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 7th, at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Dean Graber officiating. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
A memorial has been established for West Burlington Fire Department.
