Theoma Osborn, 77, of Burlington, died at 3:57 AM Saturday, March 19, 2016, at her home.
Born September 17, 1938, in Smithville, MS, she was the daughter of Andrew and Beulah Nails McKinney. On May 26,1957, she married George Osborn in Amory, MS.
Theoma was the heart of her family. She was a great wife, wonderful mother and exceptional friend to all.
She was a member of the Union Baptist Church Full Gospel Fellowship. She was a prayer warrior, an usher at her church and was treasurer for the usher board. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, traveling, reading, and she was always there for everyone.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Melvin Osborn of Burnsville, MN; five daughters, Belinda (William Walker II) Walker of Elk Grove, CA, Beneda Keener of Burlington, Marlene (Greg Carter) Osborn of Houston, TX, Denise Osborn of Burlington, Sandra Osborn of Burlington; seven grandchildren, William Walker III, Shon Osborn, Zachary Keener, Ezekiel Keener, Jacob Osborn, Allissa Osborn, Francesca Osborn; three great-grandchildren, Zhamara Walker, Zayda Walker, Ziara Walker; one brother, Theodis (Earnestine) McKinney of Smithville, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Larry Osborn, one sister, Elaine Nichols, and one brother, Jarvis McKinney.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Friday, March 25, 2016 at Union Baptist Church Full Gospel Fellowship.
The funeral service for Mrs. Osborn will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 25, 2016, at Union Baptist Church Full Gospel Fellowship with Elder Lawrence L. Manson officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship will be held at the church following the burial.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
