Anna Bouvia, 91, of Route 2, died 2:25 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 1988, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born July 14, 1896, in Jimtown, she was the daughter of Fred and Frieda Von Thulen Thye. She married Fred Bouvia. He died March 15, 1950.
She was a homemaker and was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Oetken, Burlington; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Ellen Neuman, Chicago, Ill.; one brother, Ben H. Thyes Fort Myers, Fla.; two sisters, Ida Thie, Mediapolis, and Ada Christy, Fresno, Calif.; one grandchild; one step-grandchild; five great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Prugh's Chapel. The service for Mrs. Bouvia will be 9 a.m. Thursday at Prugh's Chapel with the Rev. Richard Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
