Bonnie Beck Bowers, 54. Freehold, N.J.. died at 3 p.m. Friday. Nov. 27, at Freehold Area Hospital.
She was born June 26. 1927, at Ft. Madison to George and Delia Higham Beck. She married Dale L. Bowers on June I, 1973, at Des Moines, Mrs. Bowers was a member of the Des Moines Symphony Guild and PEO, a trustee of the Arthritis Foundation, a graduate of Northwestern University. and a volunteer
coordinator for Valley High School, West Des Moines.
Survivors: her husband; two sons, George J. Reid, and John W. Reid. both at home; one stepson. Robert M. Bowers, Kentwood. Mich.; one stepdaughter, Sue Ellen Bowers, Holland. Mich.; her mother, Burlington; several cousins; one nephew.
Funeral: private service at Prugh's Funeral Home, the Rev. Glenn Parrott; Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Des Moines Symphony Guild.
