Mrs. Vera Irene Noble, 65, of West Burlington, died at 9:50 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Great River Medical Center. Born August 9, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Walter Arthur and Jessie Ruby Cowman Faidley. Mrs. Noble worked in production at Vista Bakery for 10 years, and for General Electric 34 years, retiring in 1007. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Noble enjoyed her grandbabies, scrapbooking, and taking family vacations. Survivors include one daughter, Leanna Noble of Burlington; three grandchildren, Veronika, Chelsy and Tristin; two brothers, Rick Nyberg of Burlington and Walter A. Faidley of Kingston; and one sister, Caryl Logan of Danville. Her parents and son, Peter "PJ" Noble, preceded her in death. Visitation will be noon until 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 15th, in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. The funeral service for Mrs. Noble will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 16th, in Lunning Chapel. The Rev. Bettyanna Bremer will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for her grandchildren's education.
