Mrs. Esther Lebocia Benson, 54, of 228 ½ S. Fourth, died Monday at 3:35 pm at University hospitals, Iowa City.
She was born Oct. 26, 1912, in Monmouth, IL, the daughter of Herbert and Louise Proschman Nichols. She was a member of Burlington Gym.
Surviving: Her mother, Mrs. Ralph Cross of Burlington; a son, Earl Alexander with the Air Force; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Lou Beebe of Pukwana, SD; a sister, Mrs. Anita Peterson of Rapid City, SD; three brothers, Leslie Nichols of New London, Jack of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Wayne; and eight grandchildren.
Services: Thursday 2 pm Giles chapel, Rev. E. William Strauser; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
