Robert "Bob" Dennis Nauman, 45, of New Orleans, LA, died at 6:10 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 1997, at Meadowcrest Hospital in New Orleans. Born June 26, 1951, in Detroit, Mich., he was the son of Robert and Enid Krug Nauman. On November 7, 1991, he married Marilyn Parsons in New Orleans. Mr. Nauman worked for Bell South for 20 years. He was affiliated with Nichiren Shoshu Buddhism, was a reserve police officer of East Jefferson Levee Board, member of Louisiana Association for Reserve Police Officers, Bayou Gun Club, Telephone Pioneers, Communications Workers of America, West Bank Genealogy Society, and received an award for the highest score on P.O.S.T. test. Survivors include his wife of Burlington; his parents of Fort Myers, Fla.; one sister, Laurie "Liz" Pinkerton of Horton, Mich; five nieces, and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and one infant brother. The body of Mr. Nauman has been cremated. The graveside memorial for Mr. Nauman will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Aspen Grove Cemetery, with Debbie Moore-Lewis officiating. Lunning Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
