The funeral of Warren E. Moyer, 77, of 410 E. Water St., Apt. 104, Pontiac, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Duffy Funeral Home, Pontiac, the Rev. Gretchen Stinebaugh officiating. Mr. Moyer was cremated. Inurnment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington, Iowa. There will be no visitation. He died at 8:50 a.m. Sunday (July 23, 1995) at Saint James Hospital, Pontiac. Memorials may be made to Saint James Hospice or the his friend, George Berens, Pontiac. He was born Nov. 3, 1917 in Burlilington, Iowa, a son of William H. and Alma M. Menzmer Moyer. Mr. Moyer graduated from grade and high school in Burlington and served in the U.S. Army from Sept. 17, 1942 to Dec. 2, 1945. He was assistant manager of Hornstra Shoe Department, Ponitac for years.
