Obituary
Mrs. Rosemary Moore, 73, of Clinton, Missouri and formerly of Burlington died at 8:57 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Born July 16, 1938 in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of Clifford and Zella (Modrell) Brunk. On September 28, 1956 she married Jimmy Moore. Mrs. Moore was office manager for Girl Scouts of America for 25 years. She was a member of Parkside First Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Moore of Clinton, Missouri; one son, Kelly (Sondra) Moore of Greenwood, Missouri; one daughter, Leanne Moore of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Geneva Rosemary Moore of Baltimore, Maryland, Sommer (Chase) Burroughs of Burlington; Shelbie (James) Doty of Warrensburg, Missouri; her great grandson, Jack Thomas Burroughs and two expected great grandchildren; three brothers, Arnold Brunk of Kahoka, Missouri, Dr. Larry (Sandy) Brunk of Burlington, Iowa and Steve (Beverly) Brunk of Danville, Iowa; her extended family, Kenny, Ladease, Bud and Emma Coleman; Steve, Jami, Olivia and Henry Meek; Lindsi Stockton and Alaina; Haley and Laura Stockton; Jerry, Erryn, Bryce, Clayton and Mikey Munson and Terryl Westerhold and her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald D. Moore and Kerry J. Moore; infant twin daughters Gay and Joy Moore; her parents and two brothers, Ronald Eugene Brunk and Jerry Brunk. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, April 27th, in Lunning Chapel. The funeral service for Mrs. Moore will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 28th, in Lunning Chapel. The Rev. Dean Graber will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Shining Trail Council of Girl Scouts.
