George R Bauguess, 44, of 1423 Cleveland, died at 7 pm Tuesday, Feb. 9, in Memorial hospital following an 8-month illness.
He was born Aug. 13, 1926, in Burlington, the son of Robert Lee and Pluma St. Ores Bauguess.
Oct. 24, 1964, at Macomb, Ill., he married Hazel A Hughes.
Mr. Burguess, a meat cutter at HyVee No. 2, was of the Lutheran faith. He was an Army veteran of WWII and was a member of the Eagles and UCT.
Surviving; The wife; one step-daughter, Mrs. Robert (Carole) Larson, Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Sustison, WIngield, Mrs. George (Hortense) Rehm, Burlington; Mrs. Robert(Von) Liddle, Burlington; Mrs. Celo(Mary) Ramsey, Burbank, Calif.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral: 2 pm Friday, Prugh’s Chapel, Rev. Walter Lack; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
