Ms. Wilda Arlene Miller, 85, of Donnellson and formerly of Burlington died Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Donnellson Care Center.
Born May 6, 1929 in Keokuk and raised in Argyle, she was the daughter of Everett and Rena (Peterson) Sweet.
Wilda attended school in Montrose. She married Harold A. Miller on November 18, 1947 in Des Moines. They later divorced.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family and embroidering. She would sit for long lengths of time making beautiful things.
Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn (Marvin) Westfall of Burlington; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Linda Miller of Burlington
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Ronald Miller; one daughter, Patricia Tansey; two sisters, Thelma and Effie and one brother, Everett.
The funeral service for Ms. Miller will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3rd in Lunning Chapel. The Rev. David Mixon will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
A memorial has been established for Lee County Hospice.
