Mary L. Miller, 83, of Colorado Springs, Colo., died Wednesday, December 5, 2007. Born December 31, 1923, in Ursa, Ill., she was the daughter of Frank H. Keppner and Mabel McCormick. On July 18, 1942, she married Max Miller in Grand Island, Neb. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith. She was a graduate of Mendon High School in Mendon, Ill. She enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, puzzles and scrapbooking. Survivors include one daughter, Sheryl Francis Simone of Colorado Springs; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. The graveside ash committal will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Aspen Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. Randy Gearhart officiating.
