Dalores J. Bauer, 70, of 616 Franklin St., died Friday, March 26, 1993, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.
Born Feb 6, 1923, in Fort Madison, she was the daughter of Martha Stuven and Harry Wolbert. On May 23, 1952, she married William Bauer in Monmouth, Ill.
Mrs. Bauer was a housewife and a Presbyterian.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; four daughters, Ginger Breitenstein, of Farmington, Valerie Schwarts, of Burlington Joyce Donalson, of Fort Madison, and Terri Bauer, of Omaha, Neb.; a half-sister, Joyce Johnson, of Oregon; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Prugh’s Chapel. Friends may call after 3 pm Sunday and Monday until the time of the service at Prugh’s.
The funeral for Mrs. Bauer will be at 1:30 pm Monday at Prugh’s Chapel. The Rev. David Lukov will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the American Lung Association.
