Mrs. Elsie Binder, 84, a resident of Klein Unit of Burlington Medical Center died there Tuesday, Dec. 27.
Born Feb. 4, 1899, in Des Moines County, she was the daughter of Solomon and Wilhelmina Brod Honson. On Oct. 21, 1942, in Jefferson City, Mo., she married Edwin A. Binder; he died Nov. 21, 1962.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, White Shrine, and Helene Hertzler Circle of King’s Daughters.
Surviving: A sister, Mrs. Esther Coulter, Mediapolis; and a brother, Erl Honson, Mediapolis.
Funeral: 10:30 am Friday, Lunning Chapel, the Rev. Arthur Campney, and the Rev. Ronald Honson; Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for First United Methodist Church.
