Obituary
Ralph Anderson Basquin, 59, Burlington, drowned in the Mississippi River near here Sunday afternoon.
Basquin was going to an island to check some fish lines when he apparently fell from his boat.
Persons in a nearby boat pulled Basquin from the water but attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
Funeral will be held at Wallen’s chapel at 2 pm Thursday, the Rev. John Groen will officiate. Burial will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
