Mrs. Jessie Wuanita Barton, 75, of Burlington died Sept. 3, 1977, at Burlington Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 28, 1901, in New London, the daughter of Andrew and Grace Parks Walker.
On Dec. 26, 1922, in Des Moines, she married Leo Barton. He died July 23, 1976.
She was employed for many years by the JS Schramm Co. in Burlington. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Surviving is one sister, Ruth Carden of Corning.
Prayer services were held Tuesday at 11:30 am Dr. Robert Gildner officiated with interment at Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington.
A memorial was established for the American Heart Society or First United Methodist Church, Burlington. Lunning Chapel was in charge of arrangements
