Gayle Dianne McNeil, 47, of Burlington died at 4 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Miss McNeil was born June 2, 1960, in Oregon. Miss McNeil was a homemaker. She was a 1977 graduate from the School for the Blind in Oregon. She was Christian. She collected stuffed animals and dolls, was an excellent cook and enjoyed Salvation Army activities. Survivors include one son, Andy McNeil of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters. Visitation will be from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday at Hass-Thielen Funeral Home, with family receiving friends from 9 to 10 a.m. The funeral for Miss McNeil will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Chapel of Hass-Thielen Funeral Home, with Chaplain Randy Gearhart officiating. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
