Obituary
Mrs. Ruth L. Bartholomew, 78, Autumn Heights, died in Burlington Care Center at 11:10 pm Tuesday, Aug. 31.
She was born to Charles and Catherine Kunkle Riegel, Nove. 9, 1903, at Jim Thorpe, Pa., where she married Harry G. Bartholomew on Nov. 27, 1925; he died Jan. 6, 1967.
She was a member of First Congregational Church, Senior Citizens, and the OES.
Surviving; Three sons, James O., Marietta, Ga., Harry F., Oskaloosa, and Charles, West Burlington; and six grandchildren.
The body will be cremated and the ashes buried in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The body is at Prugh’s Chapel.
Graveside committal services for Mrs. Ruth L. Bartholomew will be held on the family plot in Aspen Grove Cemetery Saturday morning at 11:00. Rev. Mr. Dale Hempen will officiate.
