Obituary

Harry G. Bartholomew, 63, 1220 Dunham died Friday at 7 pm at St. Joseph’s hospital, Aurora, Ill., where he had been a patient for four days.
He was born Sept. 9, 1903, at Jim Thorpe, Penn., the son of John and Tillie Edwards Bartholomew. Nov. 27, 1925, at Jim Thorpe, he married Ruth Riegel.
He had been a steamfitter for the Burlington Railroad for more than 20 years and was stricken on the job Jan. 3.
He was a member of Patriot Lodge No. 650 (AF & AM), Iowa Chapter No.1 Royal Arth Masons, Zerubbabel Council No. 22 Royal & Select Masters, St. Omer Commandery No. 15 Knights Templar. Burlington Chapter No 545 Order of the Eastern Star, Davenport Consistory, and 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, KAABA Temple Shrine, and the Eagles.
Surviving; The wife; three sons; Charles and Harry F., Burlington, James, Lubbock, Texas; four grandchildren; one brother, John, New Market, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. George Kock, White Haven, Pa.; Mrs. Ioa Wilson, Elisabeth, N.J.; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at Prugh’s Chapel Tuesday, Jan 10, 1967, at 3:30 pm. Rev. Mr. Donald Klohr will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Masonic Memorial services will be held in Prugh’s Chapel, Monday evening at 7:30 pm. The family will receive friends at Prugh’s Monday evening from 7 until 9 o’clock.
