Mrs. Otilia Filomena Barrero, 86, of 2113 Mason Road, died in Burlington Medical Center Wednesday, Feb. 6.
She was born July 5, 1898, in Cuba, to Domingo and Maria Gallardo Barrero. She married Pedro Blanco Nov. 5, 1919, in Cuba; he died April 25, 1947.
Mrs. Barrero had been a teacher and legal secretary in Cuba. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Surviving; Two daughters, Irma Carrillo and Otilia Diego, both of Burlington; sister Maria Barrero, Burlington; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral; 2 pm Friday in Prugh’s Chapel, the Rev. Albert Hauser; Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial for the Burlington Medical Center Cancer Department has been established.
