John R. McConnell, 97, of Queensbury, NY, died at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at Glen Falls Hospital in Glen Falls, New York. Born July 9, 1908, in Hartington, NB, he was the son of Ernest H. and Rosetta Archer McConnell. He married Gertrude Helen Hornbaker; she died December 4, 1995, Mr. McConnell was a retail food distributor for a Wholesale Grocery Business. Survivors include one son, Reverand Theodore A. (Molly) McConnell of Fort Ann, NY. There will be no formal visitation or funeral for Mr. McConnell. There will be a private family inurnment at Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington, IA on October 26, 2007.
