Jamie Leasch, 26, of West Burlington, died at 9:28 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2009, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Born June 6, 1983, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Roy W. and Janice A. Barngrover Leasch. Miss Leasch was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Church of Christ. Survivors include her father of West Burlington; her mother and stepfather, Janice and Dale Berrong of Fort Madison; two daughters, Makayla Leasch and Alexis Leasch, both at home; one son, Nathan Leasch, at home; one sister, Shannon Bielser of Gladstone, IL; one half-brother, Jay Leasch of Burlington; one step-sister, Gina Berrong of Norwalk, Conn.; one niece; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hass-Thielen Funeral Home in Burlington. The funeral for Miss Leasch will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Church of Christ, with the Rev. JudyAnn Morse officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington. A memorial has been established for her children.
