Anthony Roy Masters, 43, of Burlington, died at 2:15 p.m. Friday, July 9, 1999, at his home following an extended illness. Born June 18, 1956, in Burlington, he was the son of Allen and Jean Corns Masters. Mr. Masters was a graduate of Fort Madison High School, attended Southeastern CommunityCollege, and received an associate's degree at Indiana University. He was an Army veteran. He was of the Methodist faith and loved antiques, woodworking, movies, and trivia. Survivors include one daughter, Allison Masters of Indianapolis, his mother of Burlington; one brother, Alex Masters of Fort Madison; one niece; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, his twin brother, his grandparents, and two nephews. There will be no family visitation. The graveside committal service for Mr. Masters will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Aspen Grove Cemetery, with Anita Beyer officiating. A memorial has been established.
