Richard Lee Marsh, 71, of Morning Sun, died at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at Morning Sun Care Center. Born April 6, 1937, in Burlington, he was the son of Lee Lester and Virginia Mary Burtalo Marsh. Mr. Marsh worked in production at J. I. Case Co. He was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed mechanic work, the outdoors, fishing and hunting mushrooms. Survivors include one sister, Betty Jane Marsh of Burlington; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Friends may call from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at Prugh's Chapel in Burlington, where the family will receive friends. The body has been cremated. The memorial service for Mr. Marsh will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Prugh's Chapel, with the Rev. Marshall Jackman officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington. A memorial has been established for American Cancer Society.
