Loren C. Allen, 63, of 33 Western Pines Mobile Home Park, West Burlington, died 1:15 p.. Friday, Dec 16, 1988. at University Hospitals, Iowa City.
Born Oct 6, 1925, in Gladstone, IL he was the son of Commodore and Bertha Robbins Allen. he married Sally I McAllister Aug. 19, 1950, in Moline, IL.
He was employed as an electrician and was former owner and manager of the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. He was a member of the Masons, the Shriners, the Moose Lodge, the Eagles Lodge and the Elks Club.
Surviving are his wife; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation.
A graveside committal service for Mr. Allen will be 11 a.m. Monday in Aspen Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Donald Hoornstra officiating.
Memorials have been established for the Shriner Crippled Children's Fund and the Messiah Lutheran Church.
