Mrs. Esther Mathilda Anderson, 79, a resident of Hotel Burlington, died at 6:28 a.m. Friday at Burlington hospital where she had been a patient since Mar.3.
She was born Mar 3, 1888 in Burlington, the daughter of Frank and Anna Peterson Gustafson. Aug. 29, 1925, in Burlington she married Carl Edwin Anderson. He died May 4, 1960.
She was a member of Messiah Lutheran church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving: one brother, A.F. Gustafson, West Burlington; several nieces and nephews. Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, Prugh's Chapel, Rev. Luther Livingston; Aspen Grove cemetery.
