Harrie Joseph Barber, 88, a former resident of BurlingtonHospital died in Burlington County Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly, N.J., at 3:30 am Saturday, Feb. 7.
He was born March 21, 1887, in Ottumwa, the son of George and Carrie Kean Barber. He married Edna Cook in Burlington; she died in 1937.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Railroad Veterans. He was a retired wire chief for the Burlington Northern railroad.
Surviving; One son, Jack Barber, Baltimore, Md., one daughter, Mrs. Beryl Hunt, Mount Holly; five grandchildren.
A committal service will be conducted in Aspen Grove cemetery at 10:30 am Friday. The body will arrive at Lunning Chapel Thursday.
