Carleton L. "Cy" Young, 50, 504 S. Plane, died at Burlington hospital at 2:25 a.m. Sunday. He was born July 13, 1910, in Corydon, Ia., the son of James and Ella Crosley Young. Oct. 10, 1936, he married Marguerite Huppenbauer in Burlington. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran church and the Elks lodge. He had been a sales representative for McKesson-Robbins where he had been employed for 30 years. Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Peggie and Pat, both of Des Moines; Cathy at home, his mother, Mrs. James L. Young, 830 N. 6th. His father and a brother are dead. Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Elliott-Lunning chapel with the Rev. Earl Meissner, officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
