Mrs. Marie Dorothy Baner, 81, of 2830 Winegard, died Monday, March 1, in Burlington Medical Center.
She was born July 31, 1900, in Davenport to B. Peter W. and Sophie H. Koos Jacobs. She married William Martin Baner March 8, 1919, in Burlington; he died Nov. 3, 1952.
She had worked at Burlington Medical Center and was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, Degree of Honor, and VFW Auxiliary.
Surviving; a daughter, Bernice Hively, Burlington Rt. 1; brother William Jacobs, Des Moines; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 10:30 am Wednesday at Lunning Chapel, the Rev. Clair Marvel; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
