Louise Lowary, 73, of Burlington, died at 10:40 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2007, at Parkview Care Center. Born January 13, 1934, in Stillwell, Illinois, she was the daughter of Paul Theodore and Gladys Crear Lowary. Miss Lowary was a Burlington High School graduate. She worked for Sterzings, The Hawkeye and Holiday Inn Hotels. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing, Bingo, going to Catfish Bend Casino and watching movies, especially "Gone with the Wind". Survivors include her mother, Gladys Lowary of Burlington; one brother, Keith Lowary of Stratford; one sister, Suzy Parrish of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews. Her father, brother Paul Lowary, and sister Pat Allen preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. Lunning Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
