Samuel A. Lovejoy, 82, of 1511 Division, died at Burlington hospital, Wednesday. He was born July 17, 1884, in Good Hope, Il;., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Lovejoy.June 16, 1909, he married LAura Nordstrom in Burlington. He was a retired supervisor for Noelke-Lyons company. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church and Men's Brotherhood, former Sunday school superintendent, councilman of the church and teacher of the adult Bible class for 50 years. He was also a member of the International Wood Collectors Society. Surviving: The wife; a daughter, Mrs. Warren Traman of Burlington, a granddaughter; and several nieves and nephews. Services: Saturday 2 p.m. Sheagren funeral home, Rev. G.A. Saathoff; Aspen Grove. A memorial has been established for the Trinity Lutheran church.
