Obituary

Ethel L. Ball, 80, of St. Francis Continuation Care Center, died at 8:25 am Tuesday, Nov. 21, 1995, at the care center.
Born March 21, 1915, in Fairfield, she was the daughter of Sherman and Ella Mae Shepherd Haifley. She married Harlan G. Hall on Aug. 6, 1934, in Burlington. He died Oct. 31, 1986.
Mrs. Ball was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Kesterke of Burlington and Janice Peterson of Gladstone, Ill.; one son, Clarence D. Ball of Burlington; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Hazel Welder and Velma Rich, both of Gas City, Ind., and Eva johnson of Porterville, Calif.: and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by eight sisters and one brother.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Thursday at Prugh’s chapel.
The funeral for Mrs. Ball will be at 10:30 am Friday in Prugh’s chapel with Rev. Dean Moberg officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
