Mrs. Sylvia Long Brissey, 70,. Marshalltown, who lived in Burlington from 1940 to 1976, died in Marshalltown Community Hospital Wednesday, May 14.
She was born Feb. 28, 1910, at Gifford, Mo., to William and Zella Shipman Passmore, and married Otto Long Dec. 12, 1925, at Palmyra, Mo. He died in June of 1960; she married Rober Brissey Nov. 27, 1965, at Blandinsville, Ill. Mr. Brissey died in March, 1980.
Surviving; two sons, Otto Long, Stonington, Ill., and Robert Long, , Tama; two stepsons, Robert and Jack Brissey, both of Burlington; a brother and four sisters; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral: 10 am Saturday, Lunning Chapel, the Rev. Clifford H. Haskins; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
