Edward S. LIte, 84, 301 Curran, died at 9:45 a.m.Saturday, July 14, at Burlington Medical Center. He was the son of Theodore and Eva Smith Lite and was born July 2, 1895 at Primrose. On March 11, 1928, he married Alice mcNeeley in Des Moines. He worked at Meacham Electric for 45 years. He was a Past Master Patriot Lodge AF & AM and a member of E.C. Blackmar Chapter O.E. Star, Palestine Shrine and First Baptist Church. He served n the US Navy during World War I. Surviving: His wife; son, John, Omaha, Neb.; daughter, Mrs. Shirley Watson, Hastings, Neb.; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Lunning Chapel, Rev. Bruce Pullen; Aspen Grove cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
