Mildred Jeanette Lindquist, 82, of Burlington, died at 10:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington. Born November 6, 1925, in Fort Madison, she was the daughter of John and Mildred Glass Allen. On February 15, 1946, she married Kenneth Charles Lindquist. He preceded her in death on February 25, 1985. Mrs. Lindquist was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include one son, Jim (Julie) Lindquist of Burlington; six grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law, Karen Lindquist of Wentzville, Missouri. Her husband; three sons, Michael, Donald and David; one grandson Justin; her parents; and one sister Dorothy preceded her in death.
