Lavon B. Liddle, 90, of Burlington, died at 8 a.m. Sunday, July 27, 2003, at her home. Born April 11, 1913, in New Boston, Ill., she was the daughter of Robert L. and Pluma St. Ores Bauguess. On Jan. 28, 1939, she married John R. Liddle in Burlington. He died Oct. 18, 2002. Mrs. Liddle worked as a soap factory production worker, a bookkeeper for F & M Bank, and in the administration area at IAAP. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, traveling and sewing. Survivors include one sister, Mary B. Ramsey of Burbank, Calif., and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers. There will be no visitation. Friends may call after noon on Tuesday at Prugh Funeral Service in Burlington. The graveside committal service for Mrs. Liddle will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Aspen Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Trevor Davis officiating.
