Brian Lemme, 44, of Burlington, died at 12:55 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Born Jan. 7, 1967, in Burlington, he was the son of Cynthia Ann Hester Mahan. Mr. Lemme enjoyed his dog, watching wrestling on TV, the outdoors, natural healing, and reading medical and herb books. He also enjoyed visiting with friends and family, and he loved company. Survivors include his mother of Burlington; his grandfather, Pete Hester of Burlington; one sister, Brenda Lemme of Ottumwa; two brothers, Todd Mahan and Troy Mahan, both of Burlington; one niece; three nephews; and two great-nehews. He was preceded in death by his two grandmothers. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Hass-Thielen Funeral Home, where family will receive friends. The funeral service for Mr. Lemme will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hass-Thielen Funeral Home, with Chaplains Randy Gearhart and Randy Langner officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
