Obituary
Dolores F. Lauenroth died Friday, April 6, 2012 at Bickford Cottage in Burlington. She was born June 13, 1901 in Peterborough, NH the daughter of Charles P. and Margaret May Cuthbert Fisher. She married William M. Lauenroth October 8, 1945; he died December 30, 1980. She was Assistant Cashier for 45 years at Burlington Bank and Trust. Dolores was a member of Parkside First Baptist Church and the longest member of the church. She sang in the choir for 80 years. She enjoyed playing bridge and working. Her long life included meeting Mark Twain at the age of 5 and meeting President William Howard Taft as a young girl while her family was living in Dublin, N.H. She is survived by one niece Dolores Buffington of Littleton, NH. Two great nephews, one great niece, Great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Great-great-great nieces and great-great-great nephews. Life long friends of Keith & Joan Foley and family, Kathy Dye and Sharon Crawford, and all the Staff at Bickford Cottage. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Ruth Knight. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.in the Parkside First Baptist Church. Rev. Rob Carlton and Rev. John Brenner will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Parkside First Baptist Church.
