Vera A. Baker, 86, of 1312 N Seventh St, died at 10:59 am Sunday, March 27, 1988, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born June 11, 1901, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Bert and Bertha Legler Sparks. She married George Baker June 30, 1937. He died Jan. 13, 1980.
She was a school teacher and a homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are several nieces and cousins.
Friends may call Monday evening at Lunning Chapel.
The service for Mrs. Baker will be 1 pm Tuesday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. David Lukov officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
