Martha Ann Baker, 45, died at her home at 405 Iowa Street Tuesday, Nove. 18. Death was due to natural causes.
Miss Baker was a registered nurse who specialized in teaching and research. The daughter of Norval E. and Ruth Peterson Baker, she was born Dec. 2, 1929, at Montclair, N.J.
She was a member of Sigma Theta Tau National Honorary Nursing Society, the Iowa and American Nursing associations, and Great Plains Organization for Maternal and Child Health.
Surviving; Brother, Robert W., Burlington; five nieces and five nephews.
Funeral: 1:30 Friday, Prugh’s Chapel, Fr. Henry Greiner; Aspen Grove cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Iowa Wesleyan College Division of Nursing.
