Ruth E. Balbort, 73, of 1618 Osborn, died Monday, June 9, in Burlington Medical Center.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bobcook and was born Aug. 8, 1906, at Oquawka, I… She married the late William F. Balbort April 15, 1931, in Burlington.
She was the retired owner of the Balbort Confectionary. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran church.
Surviving; son William F., Burlington; daughter Mary Bruse, Merritt Isman, Fla.; two sisters, Aletha Schupick and Martha Voight, both of Burlington; and six grandchildren.
