Mary Elizabeth Baker, 65, of 515 Fifth St. died at 11:40 pm, Friday, Nov. 9, 1990, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born July 10, 1925, in Keokuk, she was the daughter of Ward and Florence Newman Barquette.
She was of the Baptist faith and was a retired production worker at Champion Spark Plug.
Surviving are one daughter, Darlean Baker, Burlington; two sons, Tony Baker, Monrovia, Liberia, and David Baker, Ridgecrest, Calif.; one brighter, George Newman, Burlington; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Monday at Prugh’s Funeral service.
The funeral for Mrs. Baker will be at 1:30 pm Tuesday at Prugh’s chapel. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
