Naomi L. Baker, 80, of Route 2 Burlington, died at 1:45 pm Sunday, June 23, 1991, at her home.
Born Oct. 11, 1910, in Duncan, Okla., she was the daughter of Elmer Guy and Ella Mae Green Luke. She married Lorraine Ha. Baker June 29, 1935, in Kirksville, Mo.
She was a homemaker, and of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Elizabeth Hirte, Wever, Janice Baker, Burlington, and Janet Levins, Lomax, Ill.; five sons, Harold Baker, Fort Madison , Robert Baker, Berwyn, Ill., Richard Baker, Augusta, Larry Baker, Keokuk, and Lyman Baker, West Burlington; two sisters, Thelma Alber, Edina, Mo.; 21 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The rosary will be recited at 7 pm Wednesday with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 pm at Prugh’s Chapel.
The service for Mrs. Baker will be 2 pm Thursday at Prugh’s Chapel with Fr. Michael Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
