Delight A. Kuisle, 48, of Morning Sun, died at 2:19 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2015, at Great River Medical Center.
Born October 19, 1966 in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota she was the daughter of James Lebert and Diana (Nackerud) Crick. Delight and John Kuisle have been together for the past 33 years.
Delight worked at Mackay Envelope, the Sun Spot in Morning Sun, was self-employed and later was the owner and operator of the Yarmouth Café. She was a hard worker and a perfectionist, always giving 110%.
Delight had an amazing green thumb and loved to garden and landscape. She loved her children and grandchildren and had a love for all animals, especially her dogs Addison and Frankie. She was a peppy person who could talk to anyone, and brought a lot of joy to others lives. She was a strong person with a gentle soul that was full of love, always wanting to help people and make things perfect for all.
Delight also enjoyed sewing and quilting. She made baby blankets for her family and friends. She and John enjoyed vacationing to Florida and traveling in the South. She was a jokester with a great sense of humor and loved to dress up for her favorite holiday - Halloween.
Survivors include her husband, John Kuisle of Morning Sun; two daughters, Amanda (Robert) Snodgrass of Winfield and Jennifer Kuisle of Coralville; three grandchild, Kera Connelly, Kolton Connelly and Kaden Connelly all of Winfield; her parents, James Lebert of South Carolina and Diana Crick of Georgia; three sisters, Colleen Ferguson of Georgia, Faith (Craig) Schrock of Lockridge and Denise (Tony) Cosgrove of Mt. Pleasant; several nieces and nephews and her grand dog "Lui".
She was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Lebert and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, April 24th, at Lunning Chapel.
The celebration of life for Delight will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 25th, at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Shane McCampbell officiating. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
