Joanne Louise Bailey, 63, of West Burlington died at 12:25 pm Saturday, Jan. 25, 1997 at Burlington Medical Center, Klein Unit.
Born Sept 23, 1933, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Ernest J. and Augusta M. Timmerman Schreiner. On Now. 22, 1951, she married Richard A. Bailey in Burlington.
Mrs. Bailey was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lutheran church.
Survivors include her husband of West Burlington; two sons, Rick D. Bailey of Aurora, Colo., and Stephen P. Bailey of Plymouth, Minn.; four grandchildren; her mother of Burlington; one brother, John W. Schreiner of Blaine, Minn.; and one sister Mary L. VanOsdol of Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother.
Visitation will begin after noon Tuesday in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm.
The funeral for Mrs. Bailey will be 10:30 am Wednesday at the Peace Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Carl Engstrom officiating. Burial will be at Aspen Grove cemetery.
