Obituary

Jameson Brenton Bailey, 3 months, died in his sleep on September 6, 2012. Born on May 12, 2012, he was the son of Jacob and Jennifer (Slocum) Bailey. Jamo was born weighing 8 lbs. 6 oz. and was 21 ½ inches long. He was perfect from the day he was born. In his short time on this earth, he gave joy and love to all he touched. He was a gentle soul, crying only when he had a need and comforted easily. He loved to snuggle with his big sister and shared his smiles as readily as his love. Survivors include: his parents' Jacob and Jennifer Bailey of Burlington; his sister, Brielle Bailey at home; paternal l grand- parents, Daryl and Tammy Bailey of Burlington; maternal grandparents, Steve and Trudy Slocum of Burlington; his aunt, Morgan (Ben) Burbach of Davenport; cousins, Brayden Burbach and Isabelle Slocum; paternal great-grandmothers, Norma Bailey of Albion, NY and Sally Luttenegger of Burlington and great-aunt, Diane Timmerman of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfathers, maternal great-grandparents and his uncle Brenton Slocum. The funeral service for Jameson is for family and close friends and will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, September 10th at the New Hope Community Church, 2900 Summer Street, Burlington. Pastor Myron Crockett will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. A private committal service will be held following the service in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for his sister Brielle's college fund.
