Doris Jean Klein, 75, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at her home.
She was born November 7, 1941 in Ogden, Utah to Hyrum and Rozalean (Henderson) Barnes.
Doris married Richard Klein August 21, 1959, he preceded her in death November 28, 2005.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Doris enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, dogs, camping, genealogy, bingo, and traveling to see her family in Utah.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Blair Allen Klein; sisters, Maxine Beckmann, and Norma Barnes; brothers, Roy and Virgil Barnes.
Survivors include daughters, Geraldine “Gerrie” Klingseis and Debra Jean Dahlsten; sons, Richard Allen Klein, Bob Lee Klein (Sheryl), Rob Lee Klein (Sue); 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jean Klein; sister-in-law, Eldeen Barnes; and 17 nieces and nephews.
Farewell Services 1:00 P.M. Thursday, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Burlington, Iowa. Interment Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington, Iowa. The family will gather with friends one hour prior at the church. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
